ECUADOR, María Elena Vilches. The Schoenstatt Family in Ecuador celebrated its Golden Anniversary in May of last year. Hundreds of people gathered in the shadow of the Shrine with the motto: For you Father, united on the paten. One of the clearest legacies of that celebration was awareness: We walk together toward the centenary of the Covenant of love.

Walburga Westermann. February 9, 2011 is the 50th Anniversary of Elisabeth Schalück's death; she was the branch leader of the Schoenstatt Girls' Youth in the Wiedenbrück district. Those who belonged to Elisabeth's group at that time, now grown women and mothers, took the initiative to especially commemorate this day. On February 8, 2011, the eve of her death, a Holy Mass will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Saint Egido Parish in Wiedenbrück.

PHILIPPINES, Sr. Charito-Maria Olvido/mkf. As part of the spiritual preparation for the centenary of the Covenant of Love in 2014, the Philippine Schoenstatt Movement launched the Year of the Father Current with an unveiling of the picture of Fr. Joseph Kentenich on the outside wall of the Shrine. Since then this picture is a reminder to each pilgrim of the one in whose heart Schoenstatt and the Covenant of Love were born.Read More

Saturday, March 5th will be a great day for couples from the North American East Coast, because of the first United States and Canada's East Coast Couples' Conference will take place in New York City. USA, Sr Marie Day. "Hurry lest it be too late," now seems to be Father Kentenich's call to the USA's Schoenstatt Family as the pilgrimage towards 2014 has begun. Increasingly, many long for Father Joseph Kentenich's canonization and the process of canonization coming to a closure in the diocese and being transferred to Rome for the second stage. Dreams of receiving this news in the midst of the triennium arise.

G.M. Sometimes couples go through difficult times, and we are no exception to this having had one more or less fifteen years ago. It was so difficult that for a time we were not together; I was here and she was there. The conviction that God gives grace at certain places when pilgrims visit them spiritually or in person, applies also to those places particularly connected with the unfolding of Fr Kentenich's charism and Schoenstatt's history. This conviction has always been alive in the Schoenstatt Family. We could mention Schoenstatt, Cambrai, Dachau, Gymnich, Koblenz, Nueva Helvecia, Bellavista, Rome and Milwaukee as the goal of many pilgrimages.Read More
