DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, Sister Marissel Rodríguez. On Sunday, February 13th, "Father, we go with you…" was the password motivating the Schoenstatt Girls' Youth as they walked toward Las Caobas, a rural community in the town of La Victoria. The objective was to offer sacrifice for Father's canonization, to conquer the young girls from that community for Schoenstatt, and for two other petitions for which they prayed together. They celebrated a day of unforgettable friendship with much joy.Read More

ECUADOR, Verito Patiño. With this motto, about ninety Girls from Guayaquil and Samborondón gathered from January 23rd to the 28th to experience the adventure of a new camp in Cuenca. They began with a Mass in the shadow of the Shrine to be sent forth from this place of grace. At first many of the girls did not know each other because they are from different schools; that is normal. After the Mass, this reality began to change because while some were still registering, others were goingRead More

Walking with Mary

PHILIPPINES, Sr. Charito Maria Olvido/mkf. It was kind of a side effect of the first local convention of the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign in Talisay City in southern Cebu, held in November 2010. Delegates working in local parishes took the initiative of asking a local parish priest to bring the Auxiliary MTA into the churches and combine this the enthronement of an MTA picture. A schedule of the Visit of the Pilgrim Image of our Mother Thrice Admirable to Parishes in the Diocese of Cebu was elaborated, and the "new visitation"Read More
AUSTRIA, mkf. "She was simply our mother," was the spontaneous response received when asked what this Sister of Mary meant to them. She arrived in Austria in 1972 along with two other Sisters to carry out the mission of her life: to prepare a nest for Schoenstatt in Austria. Father Kentenich spoke these words, and they demonstrate her efficacy. She is still remembered among the Austrian Schoenstatt Family after almost forty years: "She arrived at St. Georg Kagran on August 29, 1972 at 11:00 a.m." Read More
ROME, Amelia Peirone. It has been in Rome for shortly more than 5 years, and they just named a Secretary this past Monday. For a year and a half, the process was without this indispensable figure, or better said, it was completely an "orphan." To be more exact, a cause for canonization without a Secretary is like an astronomer without a telescope, or an orchestra without a conductor.    Read More

ECUADOR, María Elena Vilches. The Schoenstatt Family in Ecuador celebrated its Golden Anniversary in May of last year. Hundreds of people gathered in the shadow of the Shrine with the motto: For you Father, united on the paten. One of the clearest legacies of that celebration was awareness: We walk together toward the centenary of the Covenant of love.    Read More
Walburga Westermann. February 9, 2011 is the 50th Anniversary of Elisabeth Schalück's death; she was the branch leader of the Schoenstatt Girls' Youth in the Wiedenbrück district. Those who belonged to Elisabeth's group at that time, now grown women and mothers, took the initiative to especially commemorate this day. On February 8, 2011, the eve of her death, a Holy Mass will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Saint Egido Parish in Wiedenbrück.  Read More
