Ife Pilgrims filled with apostolic fire at the Victory Shrine

NIGERIA, Schoenstatt Fathers •

About fifty-six Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign members from Obafemi Awolowo University’s Resurrection Chapel, in the Oshogbo Diocese, Ife, visited the Victory Shrine for the first time. •

For them, this visit was a moment of personal encounter with the Blessed Mother in the shrine. There was a celebration of the Mass for them at 9am followed immediately by confession, a time for Adoration of the Most Holy Sacrament, the Holy Rosary, and then Fr. Charles gave a series of reflections on Schoenstatt and the Church. Brother Dansuma gave a reflection on the Schoenstatt Consecration Prayer, and Brother Emmanuel Okeke on the Shrine and its Significant Elements.

Fr. Paul Nwachukwu oversaw the burning of the prayer petitions, and after some refreshment, they left around 5:00 pm, filled with new apostolic fire.
