ARGENTINA, Inés Petiti •
On January 31st, L.T.6 Radio Goya celebrated its 71st anniversary, and as every year, a Mass of thanksgiving was celebrated in which the missionaries of the Campaign were present with their banner. The Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother Campaign has been present on this radio station for 20 years. —
This FM radio is unique in the city and in the region, it is the link to the rural area, a radio that is supported and loved by the community.
The Pilgrim Mother Campaign has its place on the radio with a program about the Pilgrim Mother that is broadcast every Sunday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
May God and the Blessed Mother protect the pioneers and continue to bless all those who take care of the radio and appreciate it so much!
A radio program for the dissemination of the mission
The program has been running for 20 years; in the beginning it was broadcast live on Saturdays, later it was recorded for half an hour and then put together by the presenter. Always with contributions from schoenstatt.org.
During the pandemic, I read the texts from home via WhatsApp, since then it’s been like this: I search for articles from schoenstatt.org, read for half an hour from home and record. Gustavo, the operator, does the program with music and stuff. I often do this from Córdoba or wherever I happen to be.
A prayer for the radio
Lord, I would like to pray for L.T. 6 Radio Goya on its 71st birthday.
Lord, may this beloved morning radio station experience and enjoy a new dawn.
I ask you Lord, keep and protect the people who take care of the radio and preserve its voice.
Guide them on the path you prepared with the first ones.
May they continue to be the voice of the mute.
Lord, enlighten the minds of those who carry it on,
so that they may make wise decisions for their people.
Lord, may the radio be nourished by Your love on this birthday and may its staff succeed in ensuring that the beloved L.T.6 has the light of Your mercy and walks a good path.
To all those who have ensured that the voice of the region’s only FM station radiates the peace and harmony of a radio family, I entrust these 71 years and all those to come to your hands and your mother’s gaze.
Happy birthday, dear L.T.6.
Thank you, dear Radio, for allowing us to share Schoenstatt’s love for Mary on Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
