SOUTH AFRICA, Francis Boulle. As Schoenstatt has done each year since 2002, an Archdiocesan Celebration has been organized to honour our Patroness, Mary Assumed into Heaven. This year will be a little different as a Crown will be offered to our Patroness by the youth of the Archdiocese by way of specific petitions. This event – scheduled for August 21 - coincides with WYD in Madrid and is the day before another feast day of Our Lady, namely Her Queenship.      Read More

Johnson, Schoenstatt Father from India, now assigned to Wisconsin, as our special guest Aug 4, 2011 as well as a family he brought along who are dear friends of his and now of ours too. Aug. 4 was not only the memorial of St. John Vianney, but also the day 60 years ago, Fr. Kentenich blessed the Rosary Campaign (fyi read pg 23- "A Hero Today Not Tomorrow"--how many of you knew this?). We welcomed Father and his specialRead More

Agathe Hug. "Place your bet..." Well, in Schoenstatt there isn't such a TV programme, nor is Schoenstatt a request programme. Or isn't it? If that were the case, you can be sure that the most common request would be: Dear Blessed Mother we need money for ...! Schoenstatters always need money (and usually don't have any) for social projects, to build a shrine, to build a training centre, etc., that is, for all their good ideas for carrying out Schoenstatt's mission. There are always plenty of good ideas - there'sRead More
PARAGUAY, Carmen Codas. A Teacher's Retreat was held in Tupãrenda on July 9th just like it is every year. Professors and teachers from different parts of the country gathered giving the first day of rest of the winter vacation to receive another kind of nourishment: spiritual nourishment, and a time to share very interesting subjects. Everything worked together to create a welcoming atmosphere, where the hand of God felt present. The theme of the retreat was: "Teachers for a new Paraguay, welcoming, awakening, and transmitting life."  Read More
