“The Uruguay is not a river, it is a moving sky of blue …”

Río UruguayARGENTINA, María Adela Gerstner. On Saturday, July 9th, the community of Concepción, Uruguay (province of Entre Rios) experienced a heavenly conference at the Sacred Heart of Jesus School close to the Uruguay River accompanied by Father Guillermo Carmona.

Toward the integration of the coast of the Uruguay River

AuxiliarThis conference was not just one more in the history of the Schoenstatt Movement of this small city, where an intense apostolic and missionary work with the beloved Mother Thrice Admirable Queen and Victress has been developed for some time. This time there were participants from almost all the coast of the Uruguay River, as a beautiful song says, “it is not a river, it is a blue sky that travels.”

There were representatives from the Dioceses of: Gualeguaychú -Gualeguaychú, Pronunciamiento, Caseros, Basavilbaso and Concordia-Concordia and Villa Elisa. However this time, the first participants were encouraged, and they took a large step toward integration and brotherhood challenging the opinions of others in search of their own identity.

With a balance between freedom and attachments, the Father and Founder thought about this great Schoenstatt work for the Church and the world.

Unity allows this small fleet to grow, strength in fraternity, enriched in action, identifying itself with a place, and becoming more a family. By sharing, growing, and by giving each community new breaths of hope, it encourages the sea charts of the ship and it echoes into a feeling, action, and living more fruitfully, so that each community can carry out its own specialty.

Covenant of Love, plentitude of life

The conference was very positive with the main subject, Covenant of Love, plentitude of life, awakened much enthusiasm among all the participants in the dynamics that Father Carmona used as well as in their development.

The conference was organized by a group of the Family couples work, and it was open to all the members of the other Branches of the Movement and the Campaign. In this way, the youthful hearts in the hands of the Mother beat as one in continuing to be molded by Her.

The joyful atmosphere, the strong experiences, the clarity of the concepts presented by Father Carmona, and the Holy Mass with the entire community made this conference a special day, which marked a milestone for this area.

There is still much to navigate upstream, but it is not impossible knowing that Father is present. He knew how to overcome strong winds…

Holy Spirit wave your wings, and push my sail.
I will navigate wherever the wind takes me,
And I will place the mantle of the Virgin as a flag in each landing.
Holy Spirit wave your wings, and push the sails over the river.
The current will not take us far from the shore.
Wave your wings, and mark the way for us,
since those ports…await the Queen.
