A Day of grace in Bragado

ARGENTINA, Rosana Luna • On August 21, some members of the community sealed their Covenant of Love with the Blessed Mother during the 7:00 pm Mass, in St. Rose of Lima Parish in Bragado, Diocese of Nueve de Julio. Moreover another group received the apostolic sending forth to be new missionaries taking the Pilgrim Mother to several places in the community. Fr. PARAGUAY, Josefa Balbuena de Fullaondo • We feel an immense satisfaction in celebrating the Silver Anniversary of the Rosary Campaign in our Eusebio Ayala community, the cradle of Cordillera Culture. Our hearts beat joyfully upon reaching this long-awaited day. In 1992, the first Pilgrim Mothers arrived at San Roque Parish. Through the years, our fervor for the Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt has grown. We thank God for this indescribable grace that this gives us, uniting it with that of our Mother, who gives us her heart and we giveRead More
ROMA BELMONTE/SCHOENSTATT ROSARY CAMPAIGN, Mercedes Bonorino and Maria Fischer • “Everything that this great Campaign generates is a joy for the soul! It touches so many people and above all, how our beloved MTA showers the graces of the Shrine. João Pozzobon is really a saint! From something so small, we can see, feel, and experience so many miracles. I always say something that we experienced with Raúl: the Rosary Campaign is not an apostolate; it is a great gift from God! This was one of the many comments withinRead More
BRAZIL, Joao Luiz Pozzobon (grandson), 27/06/2017 • June 27, 2017: That morning many pilgrims went from Deacon Joao Luiz Pozzobon’s house to Tabor Shrine in procession, commemorating the 32nd Anniversary of his death. On this same day and at the same time, exactly 32 years ago, Servant of God, Joao Luiz Pozzobon took the step into eternal life. The previous three days of this commemoration were spent in preparation and celebration in his honor. This time was spent in reliving and reflecting a lot about his moments of joy, faith,Read More
VENEZUELA, Maria Fischer with Mercedes MacDonough • In the end, nobody could say who wanted this meeting more, the Pilgrim Mother, or a certain person, from a Venezuelan city, who loves her (and wishes to remain anonymous, so we will call her Rita – not her real name), “who seeks Mary wherever they speak of her.” Moreover thanks to “connected Schoenstatters,” Rita found a way to receive a picture of the Pilgrim Mother, and take her wherever she wants to go, especially now, in these very difficult times. On 8Read More
USA, Maria E. Garcia • The Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign of the South East Texas Region has the opportunity to meet twice a year. The Pilgrim Mother arrived in this region of Texas in the early 1980’s. Raquel Guillen was the MTA’s chosen instrument to begin the Pilgrim MTA’s visits among families in Brownsville, Texas, and surrounding areas. With the rapid and fruitful growth of the Pilgrim Mothers’ visits over the next two decades, Schoenstatt Father Hector Vega and Raquel decided a bi-annual conference would be in order to apprise missionaries/coordinatorsRead More
COLOMBIA, Beatriz Cárdenas, Coordinator of Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign in Riohacha • On 17 April 2016, the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign arrived in Riohacha La Guajira, a city located in northern Colombia on the edge of the Caribbean Sea. Since that day, the Blessed Mother has guided everyone’s steps that began the process of offering their service. It has been an honor to accompany such a distinguished and sweet visitor to these wonderful lands. She has participated in many activities, and she has received the affection of the devotees who feel attractedRead More

She’s back!

By Maria Fischer, written on 13 May, while Pope Francis canonized the little shepherds in Fatima, and with material from Fr. Esteban Uriburu’s book: “João Luiz Pozzobon, Peregrino y misionero de María” • After more than two years on pilgrimage and working in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, on 9 May, the day Fr. Esteban Uriburu (1937- 1998) would have been 80 years old, she returned to Schoenstatt to be entrusted into the hands of her new custodian, Fr. Egon M. Zillekens, the Rector of House Marienau. She is the PilgrimRead More
PARAGUAY, Amada Girett with Maria Fischer • Santa Rita, the Alto Paraná city that has two wayside shrines (both are already a part of the digital mosaic of the Original Pilgrim Mother in Belmonte’s Joao Pozzobon Hall), experienced a visit by the Auxiliary MTA to the missionaries’ homes. Although it is the midst of summer vacation and it was very hot, this visit was a good reason to prepare for the renewal of the Covenant of Love with greater anticipation. Joy cannot be contained On the first 18th of theRead More
ARGENTINA, Lucía Agüero González • My name is Lucía Agüero González. I consecrated myself as a missionary of the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign in August 1992, at the Shrine in Florencio Varela, Argentina. I traveled to Rome in 2005, I worked there until 2007, the year I had to return to Argentina for family reasons. During the time I was in Rome, I worked as a missionary, attaching myself to the Belmonte International Shrine. Sr. Fernanda (a Brazilian) was in charge of the campaign there. I lived in the Riano areaRead More
