Father Kentenich made us choose this date

ARGENTINA, Claudia Lell. In an atmosphere of respectful prayer, reflection, and music with very evocative lyrics, the Rosary Campaign missionaries from Crespo, Entre Rios province, honored the short but fruitful visit of the “Father Symbol” on its worldwide pilgrimage in preparation for the jubilee of the Covenant of Love in 2014.

The moments of silence gave the ceremony a heavenly accent to the atmosphere of the John Paul II Hall, where the group gathered and strong emotion experienced.

The altar was delicately prepared with candles, fresh flowers, a picture of the Blessed Mother, and a long table where the Pilgrim MTAs were placed one by one completed the decoration. Faith in Divine Providence always guided Father Kentenich, so it cannot be said that that it was a coincidence that during the December 2011meeting, the Campaign missionaries decided that the first meeting of the following year would be on March 1st, that coincided with the date that the Father Symbol arrived in Crespo!

On his trip to the Shrine of La Loma…

“It was Father Kentenich who made us choose the date and the time when he would come to visit us on his trip to the Shrine of La Loma, Divine Providence once again acted in our large international Family,” the participants commented excitedly.

Thank you Father, because this providential visit came to give them the strength and encouragement that they need. We offer you our poverty and helplessness, our work, and our human weakness. We offer it all to you so that you will transform it, and make us docile and useful instruments to continue the mission for which God the Father has chosen us, only then will we be “Living shrine, home for the world.”

This day will not only remain etched in everyone’s memory; but, it also will remain deeply in their hearts, like the day in which God, the Original shrine, and the Father and Founder, Father Kentenich, visited the Blessed Mother’s small but faithful community.

Thank you for making us feel a part of this large international Schoenstatt Family.
