ARGENTINA, Juan Barbosa. The Shrine of Life and Hope in Córdoba now has its first Black Cross. In the shadow of the Shrine, rest the remains of he who has been named, since his return to the House of the Father, Rector General of the Mission: Jere Ruiz. Shortly more than three months since that moment - in an emotional reflection on his life and the sudden departure from the Boy' Youth of Córdoba and with certainty from the Republic of Argentina - he isRead More

CHILE, Verónica Díaz de Andueza. Just steps from reaching the dream of having a Shrine -which will be blessed on May 22nd - the Family from the Maipú area did everything they could to make this ground a fertile valley for Mary. Presently, their efforts are intensified with a passion and giving of self for that great day, convinced that this yearning does not end there, it is precisely the contrary: the mission begins on this day.  Read More
SOUTH AFRICA, Sr. M. Glynis. The Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Schoenstatt Shrine in Constantia, Cape Town, South Africa, proved to be really "Golden". On Monday 22nd March, a lovely sunny day drew more than 800 people to the Shrine. Some of whom had been connected to Schoenstatt for 30, 40, even 50 years. Others had joined more recently. It was a beautiful celebration of the motherly, transforming presence of our Mother Thrice Admirable in the lives of people of various backgrounds, ages and cultures.Read More

"Among the challenges that Argentina faces, we believe that the subject of education is a priority for society and within this sphere. We need capable educators who will guide and form children andRead More
ROME, Fr. Rainer Birkenmaier. It happened a few days after September 15, 1965. We told our religion professor that Father Kentenich had returned to Rome from his exile in the USA. Shaking his head and murmuring to himself: incredible! incredible! incredible! Those giving him the news were some of us who were Schoenstatters who were studying the 12th course, and our religion and Hebrew professor was a priest who had slight contact with Schoenstatt. Even today I can see him before me, shaking his head:Read More
mkf. . "I congratulate those who have taken the initiative to pray the Holy Mass every Saturday in the Original Shrine by praying for the nations where Schoenstatt is present. It is in someway the realization of that "favorite idea" of the Founding Father on October 18, 1914: that Schoenstatt would be a place of pilgrimage and blessing beyond borders for the entire world," wrote Father Javier Arteaga, Director of the Schoenstatt Movement in Argentina. Three posters with the title "In Covenant with…" are already witnesses ofRead More
