It was true: It is ours! – May 22, 2013, in Madrid

SPAIN M. Paz Leiva. A year ago (May 22) I was translating.  An important message arrived “confidential translation.” I stopped what I was doing and read crosswise.  So crosswise, that I thought that I did not understand, and I became very excited…it seemed to say that the Pallottines had given us the Shrine.  I read it again, but not calmly…I was still very excited.

As soon as I discovered what had happened, I went to our home shrine to thank Saint Vincent Pallotti, several months earlier when negotiations seemingly had failed, we placed his photo there. There isn’t anyone better than him to mediate among the members of his community to which our Father and Founder belonged.

You should know…

Trying to concentrate, I began to translate.  But it was impossible.  The telephone began to ring:  “You should know, you are in contact with Schoenstatt International. There is a news item on the Pallottines’ website.”  I tried to enter the website…I got rid of my caller transferring my reality a few minutes before the text for translation arrived. The telephone continued to ring.  The same question.  It seemed like an interrogation.  Finally, I unplugged the phone.

I continued to translate.  A few hours later, the news was downloaded from the Cloud.

It was true: It is ours!

It was an unforgettable moment that I owe to you, beloved schoenstatt.org.  Thank you for everything.

  1. John Shea says:

Why this attitude towards the Pallottines? They gave us a great gift and we should show our deep gratitude toward them. It is ungracious to suggest that Vincent Pallotti would have worked against his own sons to please us.

Answer from editors: Where do you read what your write? Someone prayed to Saint Vincent Pallotti to help resolve the issue… Hope you did so, too. So what?
