CHILE, Alejandra Tike Felmer. Several days ago seminarians from the Saint Rafael Pontifical Major Seminary of the Diocese of Valparaíso, Chile, were invited to the Holy Water Shrine in Viña del Mar. The Rector, Claudio Ortiz Vásquez, celebrated the Eucharist at 12:00 p.m., Father Alfonso Boess, a Schoenstatt Father con-celebrated. On a very sunny, heavenly day, the Shrine was vibrant with the youth choir and surrounded with a profound atmosphere of prayer, which a great number of women, who accompanied the celebration, experienced.

PERU, Queca Espinoza. During the recent Schoenstatt Family retreat in Lima, Fr. José Luis Correa recalled that the International Schoenstatt Family is focusing on the year of the Shrine current and that the attachment to the Shrine -essential to Schoenstatt, cannot be only physical; it must be cultivated with spiritual visits. SPAIN, Jesús Manuel Cedeira Costales. The Iberian Conference for the Men’s Branch is held twice yearly. Previous conferences were held in Lisbon and Madrid. The Fourth Conference took place on April 21st and 22nd in Gijón and Covadonga with the 2014 motto “our contribution to the centennial celebration of the founding of Schoenstatt.” Men from Madrid, Lisbon, Aveiro (Portugal) and Austurias participated.
