It was a special day for Schoenstatt in Sri Lanka: Fr. Shelton Dias, the spiritual director for the Schoenstatt Family in Sri Lanka, on August 21 went to the Schoenstatt Shrine in Staten Island, New York.—
He celebrated Holy Mass in the Shrine, spoke with the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary who live and work there, and learned about the Shrine and its history, and several symbols.
In Sri Lanka, the young and emerging Schoenstatt Family does not yet have a shrine – but have a deep longing to live in covenant of with the Blessed Mother and connect with Schoenstatt and Schoenstatters all over the world.
