The jubilee graces have been experienced for some time around the Shrine and throughout the entire Family. Even with this experience, it was difficult to imagine that all the preparations, the joint efforts and the volume of contributions to the capital of grace would bring so much joy and blessings at the conclusion of the scheduled celebrations.

A youthful kickoff– a celebratory crowning, cantata, play, and a standing ovation!

Everything began with a prelude of eighty girls from the Girls’ Youth: in the midst of their weekend gathering, they crowned the MTA on Saturday night in a touching ceremony, expressing their love, loyalty and commitment to her.

The following day, Sunday, 15 November, the Boys and Girls’ youth took the stage of the conference hall of the Marian School officially opening the celebrations of the Shrine’s silver anniversary. They enthusiastically and with great effort recreated the original cantata of its blessing accompanied by a shadow play.

At the conclusion of this very beautiful presentation, the large audience gave them a standing ovation with a warm round of applause and expressions of affection.

Gratefully renewing Shrines– Heart, Home, Work

On Monday 16, the Family Branch prepared a heartfelt and beautiful Eucharist of renewal of Home, Work and Heart Shrines. Fr. Eduardo Aguirre celebrated Mass, which the entire Ibarra Family’s songs accompanied, and whose parents belong to the Family Federation. Approximately ninety pictures and symbols were presented, blessed and renewed once again to build holy homes in the strength of the covenant. Little candles were given as a souvenir of the renewal to illuminate the mission of every family. Finally, they went on pilgrimage to the Joseph Kentenich Auditorium, where everyone placed a little flag on the map on the wall, indicating the location of their Home Shrine.

On Tuesday, 17 November at the Shrine’s esplanade, the Content Commission prepared the setting with an insightful presentation narrated by four members of the Family to enhance the Cenacle gathering with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. They had a time of closeness with the Lord with invocations to the Holy Spirit and with the presence of the Blessed Mother expressing gratitude for the history and the blessings the Shrine’s 25 years.

The great day –a fantastic Family legacy and celebration!

18 November was an unforgettable and jubilant day for the Providencia Cenacle Shrine. Approximately 600 people attended to share twenty-five years of history. Cardinal Ricardo Ezzatti, accompanied by Cardinal Francisco Javier Errázuriz, fifteen priests, two deacons and the two seminarians, who are working with the Boys’ Youth, celebrated the large Jubilee Eucharist.

The Sisters of Mary’s entire community and their provincial board, representatives of the Schoenstatt Ladies from Campanario and from Bellavista, Family members, leaders and coordinators from other daughter Shrines participated. Infinite gratitude was expressed to each one of them for their prayers and their presence. Greetings and blessings were extended to those who could not attend; they were also thanked for their gestures of affection.

Joyful gratitude for faithful instruments

Thanks to Fr. Raúl Arcila, who emceed the celebration and helped to close the great celebration with a special tribute to the founders’ representatives for their loyalty and commitment until now. Gratitude goes to all the pillars and living foundations of this place: Fr. Patricio González, Enrique Rivera, Carmen Lepe, María Elvira Díaz and special mention to Sisters María Angélica Infante and Margarita Morandé.

Then, the “Happy Birthday” was sung igniting joy, dispelling the cold and sharing a warm and joyful family atmosphere.
