Schoenstatt 2014: A living crown made up of prayer and holiness

ARGENTINA, Mercedes Bonorino. Encouraged by the motto ‘Let us crown Mary with the Rosary lived in Covenant,’ men, women and children from twenty countries of America, Asia and Europe went spiritually to the Original Shrine on the 18th of October giving the Blessed Mother an immense crown of 10,000 rosaries that they contributed to the capital of grace. In going forth from this Jubilee, they are asking for her to give the entire world the grace of a profound Covenant of Love.

That same day in the Original Shrine, Josef and Rosa Maria Wieland of the Family Federation, who represented everyone who had prayed, gave the Blessed Mother 10,000 flowers with all the colors of the rainbow of the Covenant, one flower for each rosary that was offered.

This initiative, inspired by the Father and Founder’s creative words of life on the 18th of June 1949, that proposed the rosary as the road of covenant, assembled many hearts from Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Chile, Italy, México, Peru, Países Bajos, Ecuador, the United States, Greece, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Spain, Turkey, France, Bolivia and Uruguay to unite in offering their prayer and endeavor to make the “Rosary of the Instrument” alive in Covenant with Mary, as a crown of love.

Toward 2015 and beyond

“This very enthusiastic and very lively response from so many places in the world compels us. In the light of Practical Faith in Divine Providence, we believe that God is calling us to look forward – in the spirit of the Centenary – and to continue to propel this current.” commented Ana de Echeverría, one of the main initiators.

For this reason, we invite those who participated and everyone who wants to join to continue to live the Rosary in Covenant with Mary day by day, giving the Virgin the crown once again on October 18, 2015 – and every 18th of October from now on – in the source of graces of the Original Shrine.”

“Through the sacred mysteries of Redemption… we will ask, united to the Father and Founder, …Let Schoenstatt flourish as a garden of God which touches the widest circles of the Church throughout the world, a garden tended by our Mother Thrice Admirable as the sunlit meadow of the Triune God.” (FJK, Heavenwards, Rosary of God’s Instruments, p.100)
