SPAIN, M. Paz Leiva, Miguel Ángel Rubio, mda. We are less than 500 days until October 18, 2014. We are a few weeks until the opening of the Jubilee Year – the jubilee year of the Covenant of Love, in the entire biblical sense of the jubilee, with pilgrimage, with conversion, with purification of memory, with talents and gifts, with sorrows and sacrifices, with giving of self and above all with the hope of the jubilee grace, a grace that deserves that we set everything aside and to do everything to implore…Grace 2014. Why go on pilgrimage to Schoenstatt and then to Rome in October 2014? The 2014 national team of Spain presents ten reasons every week…
1. Because I want to seal Covenant Solidarity with Pope Francis in the Original Shrine.
2. Because I want to give witness, with Father Kentenich, of the universality of the Church. Dilexit Eccesiam.
3. Because I cannot miss it. It is a special outbreak of grace that can change my life.
4. Because I will feel like a member of a worldwide family and I will remember it all of my life.
5. – Because I will be able to exchange experiences with people from all over the world and see how the Spirit has developed Schoenstatt in different countries throughout these 100 years.
6. Because it is a unique experience to live as a family and to see how Schoenstatt adapts itself to the times and the different realities of life.
7. Because something has changed in my heart this month of May, and I want to get close to the fountain of grace.
8. Because my apostolic zeal takes me to Rome to place myself at Pope Francis’ service.
9. Because I want a united Schoenstatt Family, which gives witness to a holy founder.
10. Because I want to get out of my comfort zone and offer everything I have received to others.
