María Elena Vilches. On Palm Sunday, many pilgrims and members from the different Branches of the Movement met together at the foot of the Original Shrine at 10:20 a.m. to go on pilgrimage to the Pilgrims’ Church, where the Holy Mass was held.
Many families with children attended the Eucharistic celebration. The children had a special participation during the reading of the Passion, and they also read the petitions. At the Our Father, the celebrant asked them to come to the altar and hold hands in prayer as a gesture of unity as a Family of God.
The third Pilgrim MTA for Luxemburg
Fifty pilgrims from Luxemburg, who speak Portuguese, attended the Holy Mass. They came to Schoenstatt for the third Pilgrim MTA for a neighboring country. It is such a special honor to take the Blessed Mother that many wanted to come for Her.
In this way with Holy Mass, the activities and pilgrimages, and with the joy of receiving the administration of the Original Shrine, the worldwide Schoenstatt Family recalled Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem in unity with the Church at the beginning of Holy Week.
