The Father Symbol leaves for Argentina!

BRAZIL, Sr. M. Rosequiel Favero. A mixture of joy and sadness surrounded the Schoenstatters from Santa Maria after delivering the Original Shrine’s Father Symbol to the delegation from Oberá, Argentina. “It’s hard to believe the Father Symbol has been in Brazil since July,” someone commented. “Time well-spent,” offered another.

During the farewell Mass’s homily, done in both Portuguese and Spanish, Father Clodoaldo Kamimura, the Director of the Advisers’ Head office of the Regional South, expressed the hope that the pilgrimage of God’s Father Symbol in Argentina would be a great blessing as it had been in Brazil. “That you can also live the reality of the motto that guided Father’s visit to Brazil: ‘The Father sees me, the Father loves me, the Father needs me! ‘”.

“Until 2014, in the Original Shrine!”

At midday on January 3rd the moment of departure came. The Sisters of Mary offered a silent farewell, adoration in the Shrine, and with great joy they accompanied the delegation of Argentina to their vehicle. Sister Neida M. Dotto passed the precious symbol to Sister Elsa Maria recalling that the Father now goes from Tabor to Nazareth, from the country of Heroic Childlikeness to the “country of the Father”.

Between the flags of Argentina, Brazil, and the Schoenstatt Movement, the Father Symbol left the Shrine and “left” for Argentina: ” Bye, dear Father!! “, or better yet, “Until 2014, in the Original Shrine!”.
