COSTA RICA, Mesalles Ramírez Family. Sunday night when Catalina Brenes called to give us the news, we could not believe it… Our home was going to be the first to receive a slate from the Original Shrine that Manuel and Nelita brought from Germany with so much affection. At that moment, we began to prepare and fix up our Home shrine for such a visit.
Visit of a little piece of the Original Shrine to our “Cause of our Joy” Home shrine
It was very beautiful to see our children’s excitement…we explained that under this little piece of roof that we are going to have in our house, Father Kentenich had asked the Blessed Virgin Mary to establish herself there … imagine the number of Masses, petitions, and expressions of gratitude that this “little slate” from the roof has experienced.
Another important fact is that two Schoenstatt groups came to see our Home shrine and they had the pleasant surprise of encountering the “slate”.
So that many Home shrines will flourish
Sometimes, despite how much life a Home shrine may have, we grow accustomed to pray the same prayers, to greet the Blessed Mother in the same way, and not see the symbols…The visit of this little piece of the Original Shrine has injected the entire family with spiritual vitamins, and we were very touched. The much appreciated and desired joy has been revived in us. We have again become aware of Father’s photo, of the picture in the Shrine…
Our Home shrine flourished again!
We take this opportunity to greet everyone who made this possible, for the time they dedicated and will dedicate throughout this year so that many Home shrines will flourish, like ours…
