National Leaders Workshop in Mexico

Leaders from the different Branches attended: families, ladies, professional women, the youth, boys as well as girls, from the north, south and center of the city. It was fabulous to gather as a Family to exchange experiences, to see the progress of the Movement, and to see out how the road toward 2014, when we will celebrate the centenary of the Covenant of Love, progresses. This time the objectives and goals for this Year of the Shrine current, which begins on October 18th, were defined so that everyone can develop them in their respective communities with the goal of arriving at 2014 united and with the same spirit.

The motto that guides the entire Family on its pilgrimage

Father Ignacio Camacho, National Director of the Movement in Mexico, gave the welcome, and he presented the motto that will guide the international family during the years of preparation for 2014: “Your Covenant, our mission”. Sister M. Lourdes and Father Stefano presented subjects to deepen spiritually everyone during the Year of the Shrine current.

The desire to live life in Christ

Later, the youth, who attended WYD, presented their experiences. Upon seeing them, many wished to be 20 years old once again…the jubilee, the self-surrender, and the great desire to live life in Christ caused goose bumps. The joy, the life, and the hope that the youth transmit in this atmosphere of violence and insecurity that the country is experiencing is truly inspiring since it challenges the adults to follow in the struggle for Schoenstatt ideals to build a better Mexico and to peacefully hold the hand of the beloved Blessed Mother, who leads everyone to her most holy Son.
