COSTA RICA, Fabiola Lacayo •
Last Saturday, November 23rd, three groups of couples from the Family Branch of the East and Cartago sealed their Covenant of Love with Mary in the shadow of our Family of Hope Shrine. —
Twenty-six couples began their journey in Schoenstatt in February 2018, under the care of three couples: Arturo Fonseca and Julia Haug, as leaders of the group Corazones en Familia; Danny Álvarez and Fabiola Lacayo, as leaders of the group Alegría de María, and the group Labradores de Esperanza, from the Diocese of Cartago, monitored by Jorge Manuel González and Gabriela Valerín.
Twenty-six couples, twenty-six ways to become allies of the Blessed Mother
This November 23rd with a radiant morning, a spectacular sun and a soft breeze, a sign that Christmas is approaching, at 11:00 a.m. our advisor, Father José Luis Correa celebrated a beautiful Mass in which each one of the twenty-six couples sealed the much desired covenant with our Mother.
They committed themselves to be faithful instruments of the Blessed Mother and they prayed to her that “with the strength of this Covenant of Love, they would find the intimate and personal conversion of their being. We ask our founding father Joseph Kentenich to intercede for us and to lead us and to teach us to incarnate his pedagogy as the way that leads us to God.
This desire was expressed by each one of them in a different way. There were laughter, tears, and emotions that they did not know how to explain; they only let themselves be carried away by the atmosphere that the Holy Spirit propitiated in each one of them.
They all expressed that this moment would be engraved in their hearts as the most special day of their lives!
