On Sunday, 18 August 2019, while hundreds of Schoenstatters celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Hoerde in the Original Shrine, the Schoenstatt Family from St. Francis of La Caleta Parish in Panama City— the place of the Schoenstatt Spiritual Center during World Youth Day in January of this year— gathered at Mass to celebrate the renewal of the Covenant of Love.—
Beginning with Eucharistic Adoration
Like every 18th, we prepared songs, and we selected those who would proclaim the Word of God in the Mass. On each 18th, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place before Mass. Father Jesús Ferras taught us, along with the university students from Austin, who were in charge of the Eucharistic Adoration hours in this parish during World Youth Day.
After Mass, we went to the wayside shrine to offer our capital of grace to the Blessed Mother and to renew our Covenant of Love: My Queen, my Mother…

Blessing of home shrines
In Colón, home shrines were blessed that same day.
In Panama there are already two couples’ groups and a ladies’ group preparing for the Covenant of Love. The first couples will seal it next November.
There will be a ladies’ retreat with Father José Luis Correa on 29 October 2019.
