SICO 2014 proudly presents: the official 2014 website – schoenstatt2014.org

org. It has been a long process of designing and re-designing, programming, translating and considering, and now it is so far– the official website for the International Jubilee preparation is up and running, and it is going well. From now on, everyone will find all official information on the preparation and functioning of the Schoenstatt Movement’s International Jubilee– celebrated in 2014 in Schoenstatt, in Rome, and worldwide – and the triennium of preparation on this very page: www.schoenstatt2014.org.

Fr. José María García, General Director of the Schoenstatt International Communication Office 2014, thanks Fr. Andrew Pastore, from Manchester, England, for the work done in order to get this page up and running, and especially to keep it growing, changing and expanding according to developments in the preparation process for 2014.

So far, Fr. Andrew Pastore shared in an interview this Sunday, the official site contains the information presently found in the “2014” tab at Schoenstatt.org. “The two pages are sort of corresponding pages,” he commented. “While Schoenstatt.org provides the news that reflects the currents and shows the projects of the Covenant Culture, and shows the real life of our International Movement, schoenstatt2014.org is the official organ of Team 2014, spreading – as an instrument of input – the organizational, spiritual, and content related information related to 2014 on an international level.”

Coming before Christmas: 2014 official newsletter

The site now launched is just a beginning. Still in December, Fr. Andrew says, the official 2014 newsletter will be launched; it is already possible to subscribe. A monthly edition of the newsletter is planned to be sent for free to all the national 2014 committees, and to all those who subscribe to the newsletter. Like the site itself, the newsletter will be offered in five languages: Spanish, English, German, Portuguese, and Italian.

The Schoenstatt.org translators’ team will work on these translations – and anybody who is willing to help with the important task of translation is very much welcome!

In future, the new official website will offer interviews, videos, tools for enrollment, job offers, an improved FAQ-tool, expanded download sections, and a lot more. Keep in touch!

Add schoenstatt2014.org to your homepage.
Schoenstatt Communication Office 2014 asks all people in charge of websites or blogs to add a link to this page and/or change the exiting link to the temporary 2014 information on Schoenstatt.org.

… And by the way: some links to the international Schoenstatt News page still need to be changed to Schoenstatt.org.

We welcome this Advent the arrival of the long-awaited website. My hope and prayer is that those who have done the hard work and effort will not only receive the appropriate support and enthusiasm particularly from the Schoenstatt Institutes, but will also receive the necessary financial security that is required. Congratulations on a huge step forward to 2014!
