68th Birthday of first daughter shrine

URUGUAY, María del Rosario de Armas Pasó. The Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign had a happy Covenant Day, where they experienced the glories of Tabor. On October 16th in anticipation of the 18th, first daughter shrine celebrated its the 68th birthday. Without this shrine, today’s network of shrines that unite us from continent to continent would not exist…Those who could not be at Nueva Helvecia were also present in the Shrine in spirit and with their hearts.

 

 

They recalled that their mission is to help the Blessed Mother, her beloved son, and Father Kentenich, the Founder of the Work: “Nothing without you, nothing without us.”

They renewed their commitment with filial love, recalling the group of twenty-two missionaries, who sealed their Covenant of Love twenty years ago, on December 14, 1991; Sister Maristela, who accompanied them today, had prepared them.

Loyal presence

They have been present year after year, and they will continue in always inviting more pilgrims to learn about the Mother Thrice Admirable’s Shrine. The last meeting of this year will be December 10th and will include filial Covenants of Love.

Father Alvaro Rodríguez, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes and Saint Vincent Pallotti Shrine in Montevideo, joined them in the Mass; he has been accompanying the Movement very closely.

October 18th in Montevideo

On Tuesday, October 18th, the Schoenstatt Family celebrated Mass in the Providence Oratory. Unified, they again confirmed to the Blessed Mother that many people want her to definitively establish herself in Montevideo.

Father Alvaro celebrated the Mass that was prepared by the Youth. The Family renewed their commitment during the Mass as a “Family united by the Shrine.”
