We entrust the evangelization of our people to Her

En MoyobambaPERU, mcb. It is a joy for a Kentenich reporter, who works for the Schoenstatt international web page, to share some information that I received through an email with everyone.. A priest from Spain, who works as a missionary in Moyobamba, Peru, carried out a mission with seminarians in his parish “in the Peruvian jungle”, with the Mother Thrice Admirable Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt, the news and photos are spectacular.

On October 6, 2010, Archbishop Juan José Asenjo, Archbishop of Sevilla, sent forth two priests from this diocese to the missions, specifically to the Diocese of Moyobamba in Peru. The ceremony took place in the missionary Chapel of the Eucharist. The two missionaries are José Diego Román and José Antonio Jiménez, the first one had been the pastor of Burguillos, while the second was from Guillena.

Father José Antonio Jiménez Hidalgo shares: José Antonio Jiménez Hidalgo called me saying, “I am a diocesan priest from Sevilla (Spain), and I share the Schoenstatt spirituality. I am working in San José de Sisa, in the Prelature of Moyobamba (in the Peruvian jungle). The most holy Virgin is the great missionary, and we entrust the evangelization of our people to Her.”

Some seminarians from our Prelature and from Toledo (Spain) have carried out a “Mission” in our parish, which ended with a rosary of torches presided by our Mother Thrice Admirable Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt.

May the Virgin Mary bless us with Christ, her Son!
