They are knocking at my door!

ITALY, Enrica N. I know who is ringing the doorbell; I have been waiting awhile for a friend of mine who comes with a light step, silent, modest, unadorned by jewelry, clad simply, covered head, bringing the most beautiful treasure that she possesses… her Son.

Open the door…it is she…St. Mary!

She smiles at me sweetly, affectionately.
I concentrate on her gaze, and mentally tell her I have been waiting for you!
She enters, and I accord her a place of honor that was prepared for her and her Son: a small altar with a lit candle, where she will stay for three days keeping me company and fill my home with light.
Mother and Son are content with little: a flower, a small burning lamp, some Hail Marys and a little of my time saying the Rosary.

And there they remain, in silence

She, with her sweet smile and her Son, with the attentive gaze, embracing his mother, who gives everything, and for three beautiful and very short days has turned towards me. I tell them my fears, problems, aspirations, and my joys.
To them, I open my heart, I put my trust in them, I appreciate everything they have given me, I ask for support and protection for the trials that arise daily throughout life.
I pray and I feel much stronger, I feel my prayers are not in vain. I gather all my family at the feet of the Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt.

We pray and she hears us, understands us, and loves us because
… She is part of our family.
