GERMANY, Norbert y Gertrud Jehle. Will it work? Should we offer a marriage preparation course during Holy Week in Memhölz? Father Busse, Matthias and Carolin Platzer, Regina and Patrick Klausmann and Gertrud and Norbert Jehle dared. They distributed invitations mainly in the neighboring parishes and the response was great. But interest alone does not mean participation. So when four couples had registered at the end of March, the decision was clear: the course would be held! Two weeks before the fifth registration arrived. And then three days before the start of the course, a sixth couple.
Instead of carrying out the course in the small ‘Gertraud Hall’, it was held in the small conference hall. The dinner and the Easter agape meal planned for after the Easter Vigil was also planned to be held in this hall, which resulted in some re-organization. He/she who is brave enough to start something has to be flexible in thinking, living and loving. And thanks to God, more “material” was bought for the Easter nests. Six fantastic couples, who invested on their part to say: “With you I will give my all.”
A beautiful encounter: Father Busse traveled to Memhölz for the marriage preparation course and at the same time, a young family came for their Easter vacation. They realized that they knew each other from a marriage preparation course that Father Busse had offered and in which they had participated.
