Congress of Businessmen and executives in Costa Rica

COSTA RICA, Rudolf Sauter, Isidro Perera. Schoenstatt businessmen and executives are on the threshold of inaugurating the Second Ibero-American Congress of Schoenstatt Businessmen and Executives – CIESS, which will be held at the facilities of INCAE, the well-known business school in Costa Rica. The Congress will begin on November 7th, welcoming delegations from ten countries. Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, The United States, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Switzerland, and Costa Rica are among the countries that are participating.

Four Subjects in a full house

The Congress will begin on November 8th and 9th, with the participation of a group of more than one hundred Schoenstatt executives, who will share presentations about leadership, solidarity, authority and covenant culture experienced in business; this second congress will deepen in the study of these four concepts and on our Founder and Father’s thoughts about them to determine a better way of taking them into the business world looking toward the future to determine which should be the pillars that will sustain the Ideal of the Schoenstatt Businessmen.

The Congress plans to have a workshop format with talks and testimonies during the plenary sessions followed by small discussion groups, with the objective of reviewing and discussing the ideas of each presenter and to summarize the most valuable contributions of each group, which will contribute to defining the SCHOENSTATT BUSINESSIMEN’S IDEAL.

Covenant culture in the business

One of the greatest challenges will be how they can take the Covenant Culture out to businesses and promoting a coherent model for businesses and businessmen with Father Kentenich’s thinking. Furthermore, working out a proposal that each one of the Schoenstatt businessmen and executives can imprint this Kentenich seal in every one of their businesses and in this way contribute to a society that is more organic and in solidarity.

A web page has been created for this Congress where the conclusions that will be reached at the congress can be posted: www.congresoempresarioscr.com
