USA, Belsay Hennig and Gustavo Mendez. On the occasion of the death of Bishop Agustin Roman, Covenant of Love Radio Miami rebroadcast a December 2011 program in remembrance of the last time he was at the Schoenstatt Shrine- Road to the Merciful Father – on the first anniversary of his blessing.
He crowned the Blessed Mother and said, among other things, “To Mary crowned, we give all our needs. She is responsible for providing all that is needed in this area … Mother we crown you and thank you.”
Monsignor Agustin Roman, who was the first Cuban to serve as a U.S. Catholic bishop, was 83.
