BRAZIL, Renate Dekker, Mechthild Jahn. In Florianópolis there is no shrine yet – although this much desired shrine already has a “house of solidarity”, among the more than one hundred built in Paraguay, for families in extreme poverty. Nevertheless, the jubilee was celebrated in Florianópolis, in the home shrine “Sementes of Esperançã”, Seeds of Hope, with all those who want to have the Virgin in their home and on this 18th of October 2014, they established their home shrine.
All those who have asked for a home shrine were invited. And the house was full. There was a good preparation, through personal invitation, visits and with a novena prayed in common.
It was a heartfelt celebration of the “Pope’s fans in solidarity”, as the hosts said and it was very close to the most intensely discussed subject of the synod of bishops: because among those who the Virgin has chosen, there were some separated couples who have remarried – along with their children – a former prostitute, who had been forced to this world by her mother, a single mother with her daughter, a couple who lives together without being married…
The Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt has established her throne among them since the 18th of October 2014, to work miracles of grace. Mary of the second century is a Mary, who is “going forth”.
