Your covenant our MISSION

QUOTE OF THE WEEK. We will not have Benedict XVI for the jubilee, and it is possible that we will have difficulties using the Original Shrine. In Schoenstatt history, problems have not been resolved only through negotiation. Additionally God always asked for prayer and capital of grace. More prayer and more capital of grace that we should place at the feet of our Mother and Queen so that She will also act. Our mission is to live in Covenant solidarity and be unanimous in prayer showing our Mother that we love her through the abundant contributions to the capital of grace.

We have a task. Jubilee 2014 is presented not only as a celebration, but also as a mission that has been entrusted to us. We make Father José María García’s words our own: “…If the diplomatic negotiation is not our task (that is left to the experts), it is our task to vitally and apostolically show and demonstrate that the Shrine is our common home and our source of specific graces, without which we cannot exist or act, neither as Father’s family, or as an apostolic movement at the service of the Church and of society.”

The jubilee is a time of grace that God gives us and through it, it is also a motive for effort and conquest. From here I encourage you to participate in the centenary celebration, united as a family in Covenant solidarity on pilgrimage to our Original Shrine.

Team 2014 Spain, letter to the Schoenstatt Family – March 8, 2013

In this way,
the stream of graces
radiating from the original shrine
and the extensive fruitfulness
returning to the original Schoenstatt
after 100 years will be fully expressed.

Message 2014
