With the beginning of the pandemic, the scheduling of the Masses in the Original Shrine was changed, the usual celebration of Masses in different languages began, as well as the live transmissions via webcam and the YouTube channel of the Original Shrine, carried out by the Schoenstatt-TV team. However, during this month of August there will be no Masses in Spanish, except on Sundays. —
Fr. Pablo Pol, rector of the Original Shrine, announced these days:
The two morning Masses in German, 6:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., will continue as usual. The 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning Masses will continue as usual, and from Sunday, September 4 onwards, the Spanish language Masses will resume at the usual times. Thank you very much for your understanding and help!

Time of Chapters, time for prayer
The reason for the suspension of the beloved Masses is not the heat of the European summer or some local problem…but simply the General Chapter of the Schoenstatt Fathers that will take place during this month of August.
It is time of chapters in Schoenstatt: as the schoenstatt.de website informs, the Institute of Diocesan Priests also has its chapter during this month of August, while in September, the General Chapters of the Sisters of Mary, the Mothers’ Federation, and the Apostolic Family Federation will be held.
