Group meetings, talks, virtual meetings … The pandemic has diminished Schoenstatt’s apostolic life in many places. Also in Panama. “For now, we only dare to celebrate Mass on the 18th of the month. We hold prayers at the wayside shrine…” say the Movement members. —
On 18 July, the day on which we renew the Covenant of Love with Mary, we attended Mass at San Francisco da la Caleta parish. Immediately afterward, we went to greet the Blessed Mother at the wayside shrine and renew our Covenant of Love. That same evening, we organized a virtual rosary for those who could not attend the Mass.
We will continue to do this from 18 July to 18 September. This is the place where in January 2019, the Schoenstatt Youth gathered during the World Youth Day and where this small Schoenstatt Family made many contributions to offer them a home and a shrine.
