“It is not an architectural work to show the country that we have a beautiful church, it is a necessity and one of our Father and Founder’s most intimate desires: to build a pilgrims’ church beside every Shrine”, states the web site of the Schoenstatt Movement of Paraguay.
In 1999, the portico (Pórtico de la esperanza”) [Portico of Hope] was built as step of the spiritual and material conquest, then the foundation, pillars, naves, roof…until now reaching the blessing of the church as a “highlight” of the jubilee celebrations of the covenant of love.
