Queen of Argentina a family – Annual pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Luján

ARGENTINA, Laura and Marcelo Salvarani. Once again, around Argentina’s national feast on the 25th of May, many Schoenstatt people went on pilgrimage Sunday, May 18th, to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lujan to renew the coronation of the MTA as the Queen of Argentina a Family. For many years now, the picture of the Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt is in the crypt of this Basilica, and every year, this is the place of the renewal of this Coronation.

First a rosary was said at the crypt’s chapel, and then they joined in the Eucharist at the main altar where the image of Our Lady of Mercedes-Lujan is venerated.

At the end of the Eucharist, everyone once again consecrated the entire country into her hands as they crowned her again while singing the national anthem.

Friends and family participated from the local archdiocese: Mercedes-Lujan, and the neighboring Nueve de Julio, San Miguel and Buenos Aires.  It is the great wish of many that all dioceses nearby can join together in the next years so a current of life will be felt flowing among Marian Shrines and the Schoenstatt Shrine as manifested by the Founder and Father on his visits to Argentina.
