Dreaming of a wayside shrine in McKinney

USA, Laura Schuckenbrock. On Sunday May 18, 2014 the re-commissioning and commissioning of the Pilgrim MTA took place at St Gabriel the Archangel Parish in McKinney, Texas. Father Don Zeiler, the pastor for the parish officiated the commissioning of coordinators for the first time to take place at St Gabriel by a diocesan priest.

The celebration started by singing the Hail Holy Queen song, followed by the commissioning rite and ending with Gentle Women song.  There was such a joy and atmosphere of jubilee graces that all thirteen coordinators, families and Father Don were all deeply moved.  Over thirty people attended. There is no wayside shrine yet.

“But our MTA Queen is more than out doing herself in generosity, and I would not be surprise if after praying for over five years she gives us a wayside shrine during the jubilee year.  In our beloved father and founder we dare to dream big.  After all it is fitting for a Schoenstatt child”, one of the coordinators commented.
