From Nazareth: Your Covenant – our mission!!

ARGENTINA/PARAGUAY, Marcelo Lima. The first meeting for the new leaders of the Schoenstatt Family Institute for the Argentina/Paraguay Region was held under the international motto of the Family Institute for this Jubilee year, “From Nazareth: Your Covenant – our mission.” It was strongly marked by a desire to deepen the meaning of the 100 years of the Covenant of Love for each family and the community.

On 7 January 2014, the new leadership began its three-year mandate. Carmen and Pedro Klobovs are the superiors; while Mabel and Marcelo Caraballo, Claudia and Jorge Fernandez, Susana and Marcelo Lima are the advisors. They held their first meeting at Villa Ballester (Buenos Aires) on 25 and 26 January. They discussed several community matters, evaluated activities and laid out the work for this year, giving special attention to the various Jubilee celebrations for the 100 years of the Covenant of Love, 100 years of Schoenstatt and, more importantly, their personal and family preparation from their marriage covenant, as well as their participation in the upcoming events. In this context, they also want to take steps towards forgiveness and fraternal reconciliation within the community, highlighting this dimension of the Covenant, so that they may always be spiritually united in, with and for one another, beyond their weaknesses.

At the service of the Family Work

They simultaneously expressed deep gratitude for those who served on the previous leadership team for their many years of service and availability, especially to Monica and Rodolfo Concia (Superiors) and those who accompanied them in the last 6 years: Marcela and Jorge Iltis, Susi and Lito Sosa, and Rita and Marcelo Moviglia.

Finally, the new regional leaders ask everyone to pray to our Mother and Queen and make contributions to the capital of grace so that their task over the next few years will help the Family Institute to walk the path our Father and Founder envisaged, always at the service of the Family Work.
