“Venite, adoremus…” “Come let us adore him”

PERÚ, Queca Espinoza. It is the announced night, Christmas Eve, the Holy Night, waiting for of the birth of the Savior.  Participation in the Holy Mass in the Shrine of La Molina took place first before sharing the arrival of the Little Child Jesus with family and friends.

With the first notes of the Gloria and the ringing of the bells, many neighbors and people from the Movement approached to adore and to kiss the Little Child, which was held by Father José Luis Correa, adviser of the Movement in Peru.

He comes to stay

After adoration he announced what had long be desired, and for which abundant contributions to the capital of grace had been made:  after ten long years of waiting, the Shrine was finally authorized to keep the Eucharist in the tabernacle.  It was exciting to feel the applause upon hearing the news, and hearing the song:  “Let us sing to the love of love, let us sing to the Lord.  God is here; come adorers, let us adore Christ the Redeemer.”

From this Holy Night, the votive lamp that announces the real presence of Jesus will remain lit.

“Enter into the Presence of the Lord with gratitude and reverence!  May each visit be a unique encounter with Jesus, an encounter with God of Love, the God, who manifests himself as merciful, compassionate, and who always waits, despite humanity’s sins…”

Gifts and surprises

What great gifts have been received!  The real presence of Jesus in the Shrine, and the plenary indulgence that can be received during the jubilee celebrations!  Two immense graces that cannot be wasted.  As the title of this article, which evokes the old Latin hymn, says:  “Venite, adoremus Dominum,” Come Let us Adore Him.
