Texas Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign News

USA, Carlos Cantú. The Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign is alive and well in Texas. Schoenstatt life was beaming on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at the Confidentia Shrine/Schoenstatt Center in Rockport/Lamar, TX. This day was set aside for participants in the Rosary Campaign of our Pilgrim MTA. The special day offers the opportunity for sealing the Covenant of Love, for being commissioned as a coordinator, and also for being re-commissioned if necessary. More than 150 persons were in attendance. Approximately 50 persons sealed their Covenant of Love and more than 20 new coordinators were commissioned to begin their pilgrimage with the Pilgrim MTA.

The Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign is part of the New Evangelization

Schoenstatt Father, Patricio Rodriguez presided at the Eucharistic celebration. Before the celebration of the Eucharist, Fr. Patricio gave an inspiring and informative talk to the participants. He stressed the following points:

The covenant as a relationship between God and man from the beginning; Blessed Mother teaches us to understand God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); the founding generation asked Mary to descend, to dwell with them; there were no apparitions; the boys asked Blessed Mother to help them; they discovered She took them seriously; their efforts toward sanctity drew Mary down to dwell among us; our efforts keep Blessed Mother here; the Shrine is the specific place to encounter Mary; our covenant consecration is in a specific place; the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign is part of the New Evangelization; Blessed Mother is not just a pious devotion, not just a tradition, She is the tool God chose to touch hearts; who do I belong to? I come from a family, from a home.

The great Visitation of Mary into the homes and hearts

After the inspiring talk and beautiful Eucharistic celebration, the Covenant of Love was sealed, new coordinators were commissioned, and several coordinators were re-commissioned. Following lunch, a beautiful Rosary was prayed and everyone left renewed and ready to begin or continue with the great Visitation of our Blessed Mother into the homes and hearts of her children who await Her and her Son!
