xxx. Several months ago after reading about a modality to the Rosary Campaign called the Pilgrim Mother of Serenity and Confidence, a moment of boldness came upon me to ask Mercedes MacDonough in Buenos Aires, together with Cristina White initiator of this modality, for not one Pilgrim Mother but for two: one for me and one for my daughter going off to college.
At the bedside of a baby battling cancer…
What follows is an account of what has happened since. Her arrival was greatly anticipated and then what? The Mother of Serenity and Confidence soon made her desires known. First she went to the bed of an infant battling a terrible cancer. She stayed by his bedside during the difficult days of chemotherapy. His little body was struggling because this was a last chemotherapy before going for an evaluation as to what was to happen next. The day our Mother arrived was a blessing to the baby’s mother too. The Mother Thrice Admirable knows and takes perfect care. And now? He is by the grace of God cancer free!
… to a lady struggling with anxiety over her family
Then what? Well next she was off to a parish bible study where, after hearing about the Mother’s mission, a lady expressed the desire for her to come to her house. So off she went to help a lady who was struggling with anxiety over her family. Result? Peace in her home! Even though the situation hadn’t changed, the person noted a great peace when praying the rosary and following the novena!
… to the parish secretary
When picking her up from the lady at the parish, the parish secretary who was present at the time asked about her. Off she went with the parish secretary to her home! Nine days later, this person was so blessed she insisted on driving the Pilgrim Mother back herself.
She also commented on the great peace and graces she had received during her visit.
So now she is back in my home shrine waiting for the next visit… wonder what will happen next?
