Covenant Day and a birthday: emotions and applause in the Tucumán Shrine

ARGENTINA, Mariela Reche. Two reasons for celebrating in Tucumán: Covenant Day and a Happy Birthday. There were many events uniting the family on April 18th. Countless people witnessed the Mass, which was held in the multi-purpose hall, and they were attentive to Father Guillermo Cassone’s message. He introduced Father Francisco Pistilli, Superior of the Schoenstatt Fathers, who joined the family of Tucumán on this special day, and then he sealed it with the consecration to Mary of Schoenstatt and with the Happy Birthday song.

Thirteen years since the first blessing, could it be any other way? A large family emerged strong and creative, which wanted to offer the Blessed Mother a permanent home in Tucumán. And they accomplished it, now they are waiting for the Mother to give them the mission for the Shrine.

Preparing for the visit of the Father Symbol

The enthusiasm did not end there; they completed the preparations for the visit of the Father Symbol of God the Father on April 29th trying to attach all Schoenstatters on the road toward 2014 and keeping Father Kentenich’s words in mind, when he asked the Argentineans to pay special attention to God the Father.

So, with full hearts and attached with the Shrine, they celebrated the childlikeness that the Founder and Father left them as a legacy. No one left empty handed. The Virgin, as always and for always, gave each pilgrim the graces that were promised.
