BRAZIL, Sister Eliane Maria Batalin. On February 5th, many of the faithful, missionaries, and families, who receive the Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother, enthusiastically participated in the traditional pilgrimage to the Schoenstatt Shrine, started in 1959 by God’s servant, Deacon Diácono João Luiz Pozzobon.
Many people walked from the MTA wayside shrine in Pé de Plátano to the Tabor Shrine. This was an opportunity to send another Auxiliary Pilgrim Mother to the Diocese of Porto in Portugal. Mass took place in the auditorium of the Marian Centre and all the missionaries present were able to renew their commitment as Pilgrim Mother missionaries, and receive the blessing of the Pilgrim Mother image. They are being sent once again on Mission.
