Let’s all go on mission: Prayer for Family Missions in Argentina

ARGENTINA, Carlos and Lilita Ricciardi. The Family Missions of the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement will be carried out from January 22nd to 29th, 2012, in the Coronel Dorrego province of Buenos Aires, and January 23rd to 29th, another mission will be held in Mundo Nuevo (New World), a department of Rivadavia, in the Mendoza province. A couples’ group, their children, and other youth will go on mission as a family for families spending part of their vacations in this noble apostolic task. Their mission is to take the word of Christ and the Blessed Mother to each family in both these places. They have carried out these missions for many years.

The families from La Plata – and people from other places – who do not go physically on mission, have accompanied them for twelve years with prayer, the rosary, and daily Mass. They unite in a prayer chain for the success and fruitfulness of the Family Missions. It is such a profound experience that for several years these “home missions” have been open to everyone.

A chain of missionary prayer

You are invited to pray for the Family Missions sometime during the day, for example, pray a Holy Rosary, participate in Holy Mass, or make a contribution to the Capital of Grace on behalf of the missionaries. At the end of the mission day, during night prayer, everyone who has prayed for the missions is mentioned within a profound framework of gratitude and spiritual unity.

Those who want to unite spiritually to the Family Missions are asked to contact: Lilita and Carlos Ricciardi at estudioricciardi@ciudad.com.ar

January 21st and 28th, the Mass “towards 2014” in the Original Shrine will be offered for the Family Missions, asking prayers for the Schoenstatt Movement`s Family missions in Colonel Dorrego (province of Buenos Aires) and in Mundo Nuevo (province of Mendoza) from January 22 until January 29, 2012.

Everyone is invited to join in prayer and in the daily intentions of the Masses for the week of Mission.
