The little room that hosts the Shrine altar was filled to capacity. There were about twenty-four people, including six children. The covenant celebration had a meditation on living shrines. So all fitted in perfectly with the year’s motto, THROUGH OUR ‘YES’ MAY WE BECOME LIVING SHRINES OF HOPE AND LOVE. Everyone spent a long while in a time of prayer offering thanksgiving and petitions. Then after praying the 5th glorious mystery of the rosary, singing along with a CD, they renewed the Covenant of love through reciting the Covenant prayer.
During Advent, the Schoenstatt members supported and inspired Shelter Seeking in their parishes.
