The Family Apostolate of the Episcopal Conference of Paraguay gathers in Tuparenda

PARAGUAY, AICA. The Press and Communication Office of the Episcopal Conference of Paraguay (CEP) announced that the CEP Family Apostolate analyzed the situation of the Paraguayan family in the National Assembly. “Constant mission in Paraguay: to evangelize the family” is the motto that will gather the family ministry members of every diocese in Paraguay on September 23rd, 24th, and 25th at the “Tuparenda” Retreat House in Ypacaraí close to the Paraguayan Schoenstatt National Shrine.

During this conference, they will reflect on the situation of the Paraguayan family, to give evangelical responses to the problems that they have with an apostolate embodied in the educational, social, and political work of the Paraguayan people departing from the line of work in common designed for the triennium of the Family for CEP within the Continental Mission in Paraguay.

The conference will also serve to study the strategies of applying the “Family Domestic Church” subsidy in all of the dioceses and movements of the family in the country. In the same manner, during the conference, a slate will be elected (three are proposed to take post of executive secretary for the next three years), which will be proposed to the National Assembly of bishops, who will evaluate the proposal in November of this year.
