Elisabeth and Bernhard Neiser. On September 19th 2011 the Shrine of the Families celebrates his 40th Anniversary of his dedication.
In 1971 it was dedicated with great participation of the whole family movement with representatives from U.S., Chile, Portugal, Austria and Switzerland. The chronicle reads: “In preparing for this big day all the families in their place and from their
home shrine tried to work with at the inner construction of the Shrine through the efforts to be a Living Shrine.”
From the Shrine of the Families, the Mother of God gives with special love all the graces for the success of marriage and family. In this shrine hangs a net in which many families from around the world have placed a picture of their home shrine. They want to show that with this special source of grace for marriage and family, they are united and draw strength for their personal lives.

So that many people in this day of dedication can meet the Blessed Mother in the Shrine of the Families, we will broadcast live the Holy Mass through Shoenstatt – TV (www.shoenstatt-tv.de) on Monday, September 19th, 2011 at 7:00 PM CET.
The Schoenstatt Father, Fr. Jonathan Niehaus from USA, now working in Schönstatt, will celebrate the Holy Mass.
Many people will have the opportunity to participate in the Mass through songs and texts in different languages.
The preparation of the Holy Mass was overtaken by the Schönstatt Institute of Families.
