The activities at the Shrine of La Loma began with the Start-up Conference

Misioneros jóvenes con las tarjetas de oración 2014ARGENTINA, Tita Ríos. The activities at the Shrine of La Loma began with the Start-up Conference that was held on the first Saturday afternoon of March with very warm weather and human warmth. Those arriving at the shrine embraced, shared laughter, greetings, and applause. The atmosphere of happiness and joy within the Family meeting close to our Mother invited us to prayer, meditation, and song.

The family of La Loma: Branches and actions

Las tarjetas de oración 2014The Conference was filled with many profound experiences. A very strong symbol accompanying the participants during the Conference was the fishing net made of ropes placed at the foot of the altar to symbolize the fraternal attachments that are woven. These attachments become real in the measure that the ideal of being children of Providence is brought to life, and that we strive to fulfill the mission that the Father and Founder left to the Family.

The conferences were transformed into the light that guides and helps to pose the objectives for 2011. In this way as the Family of the Father, the Family of La Loma will grow in the commitment of assuming the mission for love and loyalty to those who preceded them. The goal is to continue and to respond to the hard task of being bearers of the flame of love for the Covenant of Love with Mary that burned in the heart of Father Kentenich.

During this year of the Father Current in preparation for 2014, the spirituality team stressed the current of life through the conquest of Saint Joseph with the motto:

“Saint Joseph, like you, may we protect the Shrine and the family.”

On pilgrimage to 2014

Before the conclusion of the Start-up Conference, the La Loma Family received a very pleasant surprise. Upon Father Raúl Molaro’s arrival, approximately 200 cards with the Pilgrimage Prayer of preparation for 2014 also arrived and were distributed to everyone. Now the La Loma Schoenstatt Movement can unite with the large spiritual pilgrimage that has already begun by praying this prayer for the 100th Anniversary of Schoenstatt. “They arrived from Schoenstatt, as a highlight, as if they had come from Providence!”

If for some reason someone still does not have the Pilgrimage Prayer 2014 just ask at info@schoenstatt2014.org and you will be incorporated with the International Family on this road of the 100th Anniversary of the Covenant of Love.
