POLAND, M. Violetta Wilandt. All Schoenstatt has started the preparation for 2014, but in the Fidentiae Shrine in Bydgoszcz it was a very special moment. The special guest was Fr. Zbigniew Samociak from Gorzów, a member of the Schoenstatt Priests’ Federation. He celebrated the Holy Mass and preached about the pilgrim prayer for 2014. He said with this prayer everyone can connect with the history, the present, and the future of Schoenstatt, no matter which community one joined, because they all are one big family connected by the MTA and the Father and Founder.
All for the Original Shrine
After the Holy Mass, the slips of paper with offers to the capital of grace were burned – this time they offered everything to one concrete aim – the Original Shrine as real source and first home of all Schoenstatt members.
After this they saw the presentation about the preparation for 2014 and tried to find what special gift, here in Bydgoszcz they want to offer to the MTA for 2014, and how they can show this to the whole Polish Movement and in the world…
The first and very special gift is that to prepare for the MTA’s coronation as Queen of Confidence on 18th of June 2011. In this way, the motto: THE ROYAL CHILD OF CONFIDENCE, fit, and everyone already had many opportunities to become this child of confidence, to practice the royal lifestyle, our royal faith, hope and love.
Preparing for the Year of the Father Kentenich current
One of the preparations was to get to know more the Father and Founder and all that He bequeathed, especially the pedagogical system. And during this year – the year of Fr. Kentenich – everyone has more and more motivation to do this and deeper and farther by living according to his counsel. Everyone received a piece of paper with words from Fr. Kentenich as their personal motto for this year.
And on this very special day, they also started their nine-month prayer preparing for the coronation (it’s eight months before the coronation and the ninth after – to thank God and the Blessed Mother for the coronation.)It was very important for them that they start exactly that day – 18th October 2010…
