Coming to South Africa for the World Cup? Need somewhere to stay?

SOUTH AFRICA, Sarah-Leah Pimentel. With less than a month before the start of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the excitement is building and South Africa is getting ready to welcome the world.

And of course, it goes without saying that there are very serious soccer fans among the Schoenstatters and I’m certain that some may even be heading out to South Africa to watch a few of the matches and perhaps support their country.

Pretoria stadiumMy name is Sarah-Leah, a Schoenstatter from South Africa and I live in Pretoria, a city that will host 6 of the World Cup matches. I also live about 10 minutes away from the stadium and would be prepared to host between one and three people in my home. I have a very small apartment but have a couch that can sleep two people and an air mattress that can sleep another one person.

As an added and unique feature, if your stay with me coincides with a weekend, you’ll also score a free trip to Johannesburg to visit one of the five shrines in South Africa and perhaps one or two of the sights that tourists don’t know to visit!

The games that will be played in Pretoria:
16 June – South Africa vs Uruguay
19 June – Cameroon vs Denmark
23 June – USA vs Algeria
25 June – Chile vs Spain
29 June – Winner Group F vs Runner-up Group E
