Large Mass in the Shrine of Madrid for the victims of the earthquake in Chile

The Embassy of Chile in Spain announced through the media in Madrid that on Wednesday, the 3rd, a Mass in memory of the victims of the earthquake would be held at the Shrine of Our Lady of Schoenstatt, located at Serrano 97 Street at 7:00 p.m. The Mass was celebrated in the Joseph Kentenich Hall at the house of the Schoenstatt Fathers in Madrid because of the large number of people who attended.

The ceremony was officiated by the Chilean priest, Fernando Baeza, who expressed words of consolation for the Chilean community, who was present, and words of hope for their compatriots who are suffering the consequence of the devastation in the Latin American country.

The Mass was celebrated by the Schoenstatt Fathers: Father Miguel Kast and Father Fernando Baeza, both of whom are Chilean. The consul of the embassy as well as members of the army, air force and navy from Chile attended, in addition to many Chilean residents in Spain.

The Schoenstatt Family of Spain also accompanied them in solidarity during this time of sorrow for the people from Chile. Serrano 97 was completely filled by the large number of people who attended.
