A covenant solidarity with the missions

ARGENTINA, mda. Lilita and Carlos Ricciardi have organized a prayer chain before the beginning of the Family Missions for many years; to pray for the missions and those who are missioned is the necessary support of grace. This year it also includes the Schoenstatt Youth missions in different parts of the country, and they invite everyone who goes on mission to communicate the dates and places where they will be carried out. Thus those who cannot physically participate in the missions but who want to be a part of this missionary stream of Schoenstatt going out can make contributions to this prayer of solidarity.

Lilita and Carlos Ricciardi wrote:

On October 25^th, Pope Francis told us at the Schoenstatt Family encounter in Rome on the occasion of Movement’s one hundred years: “With mission, comes prayer.” And after the Jubilee, we are more convinced that Schoenstatt is synonymous of mission for the Church and the world. In Argentina, we have many missions: Misiones Familiares, [Family Missions]; Misiones Universitarias, [University Missions]; Misiones de las Juventud Femenina y Masculina [Boys’ and Girls’ Youth Missions], Misiones de Semana Santa [Holy Week Missions], Misiones de la Familia de Rauch [Rauch Family Missions], etc. all of them at the service of the Church.

Those who do not go on the Missions will accompany them with prayer, the prayer of the rosary and daily Holy Mass. We unite in a prayer chain for the success and fruitfulness of all the Missions. Therefore prayer such as the Holy Rosary, participation in Holy Mass, or offering whatever you wish for the missionaries is asked at sometime during the day. At the end of the mission day during Night Prayer, everyone, who has prayed for the missions, is mentioned within a profound framework of gratitude and spiritual unity.
